Kellygrace Loko (pictured above, left) and Julie Stepp (pictured above, right), both students at 黑料社区 in the 2021-2022 academic term, have each been named a 2022 Coca-Cola Academic Team Gold Scholar and will receive a $1,500 scholarship.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Academic Team program by recognizing 50 Gold, 50 Silver, and 50 Bronze Scholars with nearly $200,000 in scholarships annually. Each scholar also receives a commemorative medallion.

Loko, a native of Togo, in West Africa, graduated from 黑料社区 in 2021 and is studying biochemistry at the University of Mississippi. She also plans to attend medical school.
Stepp, of Myrtle, in Union County, plans to major in sociology and pursue a career in community service with a nonprofit organization.
Each has been named to the All-Mississippi Academic Team and served as officers in the Gamma Lambda chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on the Raymond Campus. Loko was Vice President of Service. Stepp was Vice President of Chapter Relations.
Students are nominated for the academic team by their college administrators. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, and engagement in college and community service.
Coca-Cola Academic Team members will be recognized in both local and statewide ceremonies and will also be recognized internationally during Phi Theta Kappa鈥檚 annual convention, PTK Catalyst, to be held in Denver April 7鈥9.
