National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements

State Authorization

黑料社区 participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), allowing us to offer distance education to residents of other NC-SARA member states and districts. For more information, visit .

If you live outside Mississippi and are considering a licensure program, contact your home state’s licensing board before applying to ensure the program meets their requirements. While we strive to stay updated on state laws, it is the student’s responsibility to verify licensure requirements with their home state.聽

Program Licensure

In accordance with federal requirement 34 CFR 668.43(c), 黑料社区 is committed to providing public and direct program licensure disclosure statements to prospective and current students. This ensures transparency and helps students understand the educational requirements for professional licensure and certification in various programs.

Licensure requirements vary by profession and state. If you reside outside Mississippi and are considering a licensure program, you should contact your home state’s licensing board before applying to 黑料社区 to ensure the program meets their requirements. While it is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether the program meets their state鈥檚 licensure requirements, 黑料社区 will remind out-of-state students enrolled in licensure programs to check their state’s requirements.

Public Disclosure

Comprehensive licensure information for each relevant program is available on the 黑料社区 website, ensuring accessibility for all prospective and current students. Students are informed whether their program of study meets or does not meet the licensure requirements in their state. For questions regarding professional licensure, please email: stateauthorization@hindscc.edu.

Direct Disclosure

Students are notified of licensure requirements, including whether their program of study meets or does not meet the licensure requirements in their state, during the application process, before the student submits their application. Additionally, all new students receive this information during their first semester in New Student Onboarding and returning students during Continuing Student Onboarding. Students who submit a change-of-address in Navigator will also receive a notification regarding state licensure requirements.

Student Address vs Student Location

For purposes of state authorization and program licensure agreements, a student’s address is determined by the primary address a student includes on his or her initial application, or the primary address as updated by the student through the Navigator portal. A student’s location, for a program that is considered a “face-to-face program”, would be the state the college is in, which would be Mississippi. If the program offered is a “distance program”, meaning the student can complete program coursework “at a distance” while residing outside of the state, then the student’s primary address will be deemed his or her “location” in determining program licensure requirements.

Attestation

Federal regulation 搂 668.14(b)(32)(i) and (ii) requires students to complete an attestation at the time of initial enrollment into a professional licensure or state certification program at 黑料社区 if the program does not meet the educational requirements for the state or territory where the student is located. This attestation must be completed for the student to continue in the program. To complete the attestation the student will meet with an advisor to discuss and acknowledge that 黑料社区 has informed them that the program they intend to enroll in is not designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification in the state where they are located. The student will attest that they intend to seek employment in a state that meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification. Once completed, students will be registered into the program.

Student Complaint and Grievance Procedures

黑料社区 values high quality in the delivery of academic and administrative services to all students. If a student feels that the treatment he or she has received is not consistent with expectations based upon the College鈥檚 official documents, such as the Catalog or the Student Guide, the student is required to express his or her complaints in a manner that will provide documentation for a timely response and resolution. Full details of the process can be found in the .
