鈥淚t just feels like they want you to win, and that inspires me to push myself every day to succeed,鈥 said Savana Ashley, a sophomore majoring in agribusiness management at the 黑料社区 Raymond Campus.
Before enrolling at 黑料社区, Ashley had considered numerous colleges, but after touring the campus, she knew that 黑料社区 was an excellent fit for her. 鈥淲hen I walked into Fountain Hall and saw all of the smiling faces, it just felt like home; the entire experience was just crazy to me,鈥 Ashley said. 鈥淓veryone at the college is here to help you, and that鈥檚 my favorite part about 黑料社区.鈥
In addition to the hospitable nature of the college, Ashley said she also enjoys networking with alumni and prospective students throughout the college system. She is a member of 黑料社区 Connection, the college鈥檚 student recruiting and public relations group that enables students to serve as ambassadors 黑料社区 during events, give campus tours to prospective students, and work at recruiting events such as tailgates, senior days, open houses, and more.
鈥満诹仙缜 Connection has opened more opportunities than I could have ever imagined,鈥 said Ashley. 鈥淚 really enjoy meeting alumni because they are so passionate about 黑料社区. Their passion inspires me to appreciate the experiences I have now as a college student because I know that 黑料社区 helped them to become successful.鈥
Ashley said she also chose 黑料社区 because it is affordable and offers scholarships for students of all majors. 鈥淲hat I pay here for a semester would probably not equal the cost of a dorm room at a university.鈥
鈥淭hey also offer transfer scholarships which will help me pay to advance my degree at a four-year institution after I graduate,鈥 she added. 鈥淚 am so happy that I made the right choice to come to 黑料社区.鈥
